Around the release of his latest album, Frank Ocean crossed all disciplinary boundaries by releasing a 45 min video, a 350 page magazine entitled Boys Don’t Cry that was sold in various pop-up stores across the US, as well as his album Blonde – as a puzzling total work of art that draws its inspirations from a multitude of sources.
